1. What is GameVision?

GameVision is a software application designed to aid coaches in preparing for future opponents and to scout themselves.. Utilizing the combination of video and data input GameVision can be an effective tool to give coaches that extra edge over their opponents.  Go To Top 

2. As a coach, how can GameVision help me?

GameVision is a coaching tool. If used properly GameVision can be used not only to scout your opponents but to scout yourself. Also, GameVision can be used as a teaching tool. You can use the Group Plays Module to call up particular plays that can be viewed by particular players.     Go To Top 

3. What do I get with the GameVision package?

The GameVision package comes complete with everything you need to use our software. 4. How do I get my game video into my computer?

The GameVision package includes an ADS USB 2.0 capture device. This capture device is used to turn your computer into a VCR. Your game film is recorded or captured directly to your computers hard drive.   Go To Top 

5. What types of video files will GameVision play?

GameVision will play AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2 and Windows Media video files. Not all formats will give you the same performance with slow motion and fast forward. We have found that MPEG1 Constant BitRate  files play the best with medium quality of video and AVI files tend to be the largest with high quality video.  Go To Top 

6. Can GameVision produce Cut-Up and Highlight videos? 

Yes, GameVision has the capability to produce Cut-Up and Highlight videos from the plays that you breakdown while using the software. You can then output these Cut-Up and Highlight videos to Video CD, DVD or to video tape. Go To Top

7. Can I customize my terminology?

Yes, GameVision will let you customize your terminology. Just click the SetUp button, the SetUp database will appear. Here, the coach can enter their unique terminology that will be used in certain play fields.  Go To Top 

8. Can I customize the GameVision Reports?

At this time, GameVision does not have the capability to produce customized reports. This feature could be part of a future release.   Go To Top 

9. Can I share GameVision data with assistant coaches?

Yes, GameVision data can be shared. An external USB 2.0 or Firewire hard drive or a network connection is required.    Go To Top 

10. Can GameVision output video to a tape or CD?

Yes, GameVision can output video CD or DVD via the Cut-Ups Module and to tape using the supplied ADS Instant USB 2.0 device.  Go To Top 

11. Can GameVision call up video and data for a particular team instead of a game?

It sure can. GameVision has the capability to track game data by game and/or by team. The user can call up all or a group of plays for a particular team using the Recall Offense, Recall Defense or the Group Plays Module.   Go To Top 

12. How much disk space will I need for video?

That can vary. It depends on the type of video and the compression used. Typically AVI files are the largest, usually 15 Gigabytes per hour of video, while MPEG files are much smaller. At 320x240 resolution, a twenty five minute MPEG 1 video file captured at 2000kbs will be approximately 650 megabytes.  Go To Top 

13. Will I have to pay for future updates? Releases?

GameVision Sports will offer free product updates for life. However, there will be a charge for future releases.  Go To Top 

14. Who can I contact for support?
